This is a 60-hour online course for English language teachers who want to brush up on their English skills in 2021. The course focuses on vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation, and its second edition will be offered from February to June 2021.
All the sessions take place live and they are recorded. That means that if you can’t participate in them live, you’ll be able to watch a recording, which will be available for 7 days. The classes will offer a mixture of theory and practice, and they will aim at helping teachers understand the language they teach in more depth and use it more confidently and accurately. For participants doing the whole course, there is a Google Classroom with extra materials such as videos, articles, tests etc., all with a view to helping you develop more and more.
Sessions on the course include aspects such as verb tenses, conditionals, phonemes and phonemic symbols, connected speech, phrasal verbs and idioms, collocations, and much, much more. Finally, certificates will be issued for every session you take part in.
A complete list of the sessions which took place in the first edition can be found here. The sessions for the second edition will be made available in November 2020.
